Multi XF VBG Multi XF Drawbar is made from a small number of parts, is light-weight and yet strong, and fits trailers with c/c dimensions of between 700 mm – 1,300 mm. Potential drawbar lengths vary between 1,269 – 4,358 mm in steps of approx. 62 mm. The installation procedure is simple and no welding or drilling is necessary – installation is done by means of bolted joints.

The drawbar consists of:
4 Sidemembers
1 Eye
1-2 Crossmembers
2 Rear brackets with fitted Vibra blocks (Ø 32 mm) or
Briab brackets incl. bolt kit
6 Screw kits, sidemember
1-2 Screw sets, crossmember

Easy to install

The complete drawbar is assembled with bolted joints. No welding is necessary. To simplify installation there is a special centring device, which is fixed in the drawbar eye.

Flexible

The drawbar can be adapted to most vehicle combinations. With only a small number of standard units it is possible to achieve drawbar lengths from 1,269 – 4,358 mm (see table)and c/c dimensions of 700 mm – 1,300 mm.

Surface treated

The drawbar is treated with a basic zinc-manganese phosphatising process, ED primer and a powder coating with a high finish and first-rate resistance to corrosion.

Several alternatives

The drawbar can be fitted with either Vibra blocks or Briab brackets for attachment to the trailer. Four different drawbar eyes are available: VBG Ø 57 mm, VBG Ø 57 mm angled 5°, ISO Ø 50 mm and DIN Ø 40 mm. VBG Ø 57 mm, angled 5°, is used where there is a low attachment point on the trailer.
