EDH-2SKV The loose endplates EDH-2SKV are intended to replace loose endplates of the VBG SKUR and VBG SKU types already fitted on vehicles, in order to fi t the VBG DB35V and VBG DB75V drawbeams.

With this endplate the drawbeam is always “completely underslung”. It is assumed in other words that there are always holes drilled in the truck frame (2 x 4 = 8 pcs, diameter 17 mm per side) where the existing endplates are fi tted. If the drawbeam has been fitted lower than normal, the angle iron will not reach up to truck frame. In which case a flat iron with a width of 60 mm, the correct thickness and with three 17 mm diameter holes, must then be inserted as a spacer.

If there is limited space over the endplate, < 70 mm over the upper row of holes, then EDH-2SKV is fitted, which however requires an angle bracket to be fitted in the truck frame’s lower flange.

The attachment holes are drilled by using the attendant angle bracket as a template. EDH- 2SKV lowers the connection point by 39 mm in comparison with SKU/SKUR. This type of endplate moves the connection point backwards 36 mm.
